Sighthill Bowling Club was founded in 1948 and has two outdoor bowling greens. The club's motto is Notris Laboribus which means "by our own labour". There are about 200 Full Members as well as Associate Members and Junior Members. The original clubhouse has a function hall and lounge. The club has recently opened an additional new clubhouse which has changing rooms, an upstairs lounge, family room & games room. Sighthill Bowling Club would like to say a big thank you to sportscotland who awarded the club £125,000 towards the cost of the new clubhouse. |
